The Startup Visa Program is a PR program. This is different and better from other programs because it guarantees PR residency in Canada once the Startup is selected by a designated Incubator.

Both the Founder and the spouse are eligible for Work Permit (founder is eligible for a closed work permit and spouse is eligible for an Open Work Permit) that is issued while the PR application is in process.
