The Canada Startup Visa program provides 5 Canadian work permits leading to PR in 2 years to founders (with families, age limit of dependent children up to 22 years), of high growth startups. There is no age limit, no points system to qualify or need for a job offer before the permits are processed.

The selection by the Canadian incubator is the critical criteria for the permits to be processed. The below points are mandatory requirements for the applicant ( Please refer to also ) : 1. 2. Obtain a support letter from a designated organization (group or investment fund which meets the startup support criteria); 3. Speak English, French or both languages at a proficient level. You must take a language test from an and include the results with your application else it won't be processed. You must meet the minimum level of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 in either English or French; 4. This is NOT charged fee, but needs to be in the bank account of the applicant for the applicant's personal use for settling in Canada. (the necessary amount of money depends on the number of family members relocating here. eg. for a family of 3, 4 and 5 it is (in Canadian Dollars) $21,055, $25,564 and $28,994 respectively).
